The woodland cabin provided a serene escape.. I enjoyed the peacocks roaming freely. The swimming pool offered a refreshing experience. The attentive lifeguard enhanced our time there.

dated cabin with dampness issues

the location was quiet and tranquil providing a super calm place.
the overwhelming smell of dampness in the cabin was a major issue i noticed sanded wood panels at the side of the beds this indicated attempts to remove damp spores i found this unsettling and all my clothes stank of dampness later. check-in was at 5pm and check-out by 10am which i thought was inconvenient and too short.

The setting features beautiful woodlands and a tranquil atmosphere. my family enjoyed the amenities, including the pool and kids' play areas. the kitchen was well-equipped. I especially appreciated the dishwasher. the location provides easy access to local attractions.

The cabin included a double bed in one room and a single bed with a pull-out trundle bed in the other. This provided ample sleeping arrangements for my family. the sunroom featured a table and chairs, offering a relaxing space to dine. a decking area outside had nice views.

the reception staff greeted us warmly and gave helpful information for our stay. the staff quickly addressed a minor issue with a blind, ensuring minimal disruption. the team displayed a genuine willingness to assist guests with their needs.

the location is great. it was great to have a swimming pool on site. loch with ducks was great for the kids to see up close. the location worked great for getting to local attractions.
the cabin smelled badly of damp, even though the cleaners did a good job. the facilities are currently closed for refurbishment. i can't comment on them currently. the lodge is very dated with old furniture and decor.
